About this Photoblog

'the everyday' is a photoblog of images that I make during day-to-day life in Chicago. My goal is to capture images for this blog as I go about my daily routine (to and from work, on a quick walk at lunch, etc.). This is a different approach to photography for me. My main photographic interest is landscape and nature photography, so I do most of my shooting on trips or on weekends when I head out of the city. Sometimes there is a pretty long gap between my outings, so this blog is a way for me to take more pictures and to take a different approach to photography. Equipment

I use a Canon 20D or 5D body with these lenses:
